Place your first minion
Hire a minion from the Minions menu. It arrives as an item you can hold. Right-click a block on your island to place it, then use its menu to collect output, upgrade it, change its skin or pick it up again.
| Minion | What to put nearby |
|---|---|
| Miner | A regenerating supply of stone or ore within reach. |
| Farmer | Mature crops. It harvests and replants them. |
| Rancher | At least two adult pigs, cows, chickens or sheep within four blocks. It produces goods without killing them. |
Minions work while their owner is online and their chunk is loaded. They stop when storage fills. Output stays inside the minion until collected; a chunk hopper does not empty a minion's internal storage.
Upgrade the worker, then the farm
Minions have ten levels. Each upgrade doubles storage and shortens the work interval: two seconds a level down to two seconds, then evenly to one second at level X for miners and farmers (a rancher reaches four seconds). The upgrade button shows the exact new pace. Levels VI through X also need Sky levels 10 through 18. Extra island minion slots let you place more workers; they do not upgrade the ones you already own.
Collect loose drops
A Chunk Hopper collects item drops in its own chunk. Point its outlet towards the container you want it to feed. Check the chunk boundary before building a farm across it.
| Tier | Sky level | Base rate | Base capacity |
|---|---|---|---|
| I · Common | 1 | 4 items/sec | 4,096 items |
| II · Uncommon | 4 | 32 items/sec | 32,768 items |
| III · Epic | 8 | 256 items/sec | 262,144 items |
| IV · Legendary | 12 | 2,048 items/sec | 2,097,152 items |
These are base rates and capacities. Island upgrades can change them, and collection only runs in loaded chunks. Redstone power or the machine's pause control stops it.
Auto Sell Chests
Put sale stock into the chest or feed it with a hopper. Auto Sell Chests process their queue in five-second batches, so a large deposit will not vanish at once. Their four tiers use the same base rate and capacity table as collectors.
The sale pays the island owner. Keep supplies you want to share in an ordinary chest, especially seeds, tools and anything you are saving for a build. Check a small sale before connecting the whole farm.
