Tables and books

Enchant a compatible tool at a normal enchanting table. Custom enchants can appear alongside its vanilla enchantments. Higher table offers can roll stronger Haste and Speed tiers, but your skill rank still limits what you can obtain.

/enchants lists the enchants and sells physical books. Books can be traded. At an anvil, put the tool on the left and the book on the right. You need the correct skill rank and Minecraft XP levels to apply it.

The rank is in the skill used by that tool: Mining for pickaxes and shovels, Foraging for axes, Farming for hoes, Combat for swords and Fishing for rods. Hover does not go on swords or fishing rods.

Replenish and fast harvesting

At Farming 2, Replenish uses a seed from the harvest or your inventory. At Farming 5, it can still replant when neither has one. It also stops you from breaking young crops by accident.

Add Harvest and sneak while harvesting to clear a 3 × 3 patch of ripe crops. Farming 11 expands it to 5 × 5. Replenish works with Harvest, so the patch can be replanted as you go.

Working towards Haste X and Speed X

Haste and Speed have ten tiers. Combine two books of the same enchantment and tier to make the next tier, up to X. You need enough skill mastery to combine them, and the correct tool skill rank to apply the result.

The other custom enchants have one tier. Their effects can improve with skill rank instead. For example, a stronger Combat rank lets Cleave harvest more members of a stack.
